NBA lockout ended!

After a month missed in the regular season the lockout finally came to end. Team owners and players came to an agreement. The most probable date of start of season is 25 December. It is great to hear that we can watch world superstars again on the courts but it has some bad effects for European basketball. When nba was locked out many great players such as Danilo Gallinari, Derron Williams, Jordan Farmar, Thabo Sefolosha went to European teams and changed the game level in Europe but almost all of them had a contract saying that they will return to USA when lockout ends. So European teams will lose power as European basketball.

Turkey is one of the countries that its clubs are victims of lockout. Turkish teams had a great rising in the Euroleague by help of their players from NBA. Now Derron Williams and Semih Erden from Beşiktaş Milangaz, Zaza Pachulia from Galatasaray Medical Park, Thabo Sefolosha from Fenerbahçe Ülker, Ersan İlyasova from Anadolu Efes and Mehmet Okur from Türk Telekom will go back to NBA. Beşiktaş Milangaz also signed contract with the star forward of Los Angeles Lakers, Lamar Odom but just one day after the contract was signed the lockout ended. I can say that the most powerful impact of the ending of lockout is on Beşiktaş Milangaz.

Derron Williams thanked Beşiktaş club and their fans and said these words ''Guess ill be going home soon LockoutOver! My time in Istanbul with Besiktas was amazing thanks for everything!''. It is amazing to hear such words from a superstar but it has no doubts that Beşiktaş Milangaz will falter without Williams in the league. I can say that Anadolu Efes won't be bad as Beşiktaş because they will only lose Ersan Ilyasova but his backup is ready in the team, Duško Savanović. He is also a great player but he couldn't show his best performance yet in Turkey. May be it will be chance for him to gain some self confidence and dominate the league. As conclusion I can say that NBA lockout has finished but Turkish Basketball League's knock out has started.

Jason Kidd

Jason Frederick Kidd is a professional basketball player born in March 23, 1973. He plays for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association. He is one of the most interesting and succesfull basketball players for sure if we look at his early life, career and personal life. His interesting background and extraordinary personal life makes his career a bigger success.
First of all, famous American basketball player was born and raised in Oakland, California. He played for University of California, Berkeley. From 1996 to 2001, he played for the Phoenix Suns and he played for New Jersey Nets for the following seven years.
After that, he led his team, the New Jersey Nets to two NBA finals in 2002 and 2003. In 2011, he won with Dallas. His skills also make him a triple-doublre threat. Also, he is in third place all time for regular season triple doubles in NBA, total number of one hundred and seven. Also, he is in second in playoffs triple doubles with a total number of twelve. If we want to talk about his success more, Kidd reached his 100th career triple-double in April 16, 2008. In the 2008–2009 season, he became the fourth player in the history of NBA to achieve the 10,000 assists and 7,000 rebounds, having 15,000 points. Almost a year after, he became the third, and in November 2009, he moved to the 2nd place when he won a game against the Houston Rockets. He passed MARK Jackson on the list. Currently, he has the record for having played the biggest number of games between active players.
Also, One of the most interesting stories of his personal life is about him getting arrested in January 2001 for assaulting his wife Joumana in anger. As a part of his punsihment, he joined anger management clubs and went to those classes for six months. After that, it was now official that he had quitted from drinking. However, on January 9, 2007, HE FILED FOR DIVORCE AGAINST HIS WIFE. His reasons for the divorce were jealousy, paranoai and extreme cruelty. About a month later, his wife filed a counterclaim for divorce, informing that Kidd had "broke her rib and damaged her hearing by smashing her head into the console of a car.” Kidds had three children. On September 10, 2011, Kidd married a formed model named Porschla Coleman who is now in charge of Jason Kidd foundation.
All in all, we can say that Jason Kidd is one of the most successfull basketball players in NBA history due to his record and sucessfull career and his outstanding background. Also, even though he has gone through a lot of hard situations in his personal life, he still managed to stay as a good basketball player and this shows us another good trait of his.
